Eight Graduates Recruited to Training Programme for Signalling and Software Projects

To support DeltaRail’s continuing success and growth in the areas of signalling control and software, we are delighted to announce that another eight graduates have been recruited this year to DeltaRail's Graduate Training Scheme.

The new recruits, who come from a range of technical disciplines and UK Universities, were selected from over 300 applicants through assessments that comprised group exercises, technical aptitude tests and interviews. They are now undergoing a formal training programme to prepare them for their first deployment within DeltaRail's project teams to work on signalling control systems and software projects.

DeltaRail Involved in Three of the Four 'Best Projects' Recognised at the National Rail Awards

DeltaRail was involved in three of the four projects recognised in the “Best Project” category at the prestigious National Rail Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

The North London Railway Infrastructure Project won Best Project for the team of TfL, Network Rail, Atkins, Carillion and DeltaRail.

The highly commended projects included the Reading Christmas Works 2010-11 (of which DeltaRail's Reading IECC re-control project was part) and the Airdrie to Bathgate Rail Link Project (with an update to the Waverley IECC).

The Reading commendation was welcomed by Network Rail programme director Robbie Burns who said "Network Rail engineers and our contractors delivered to the highest standards, working round the clock through freezing conditions to get the job done on schedule".
